4000 Crypto ATMs to be Launched in Argentina

Odyssey Group from Argentina announced plans to launch 4000 ATMs with cryptocurrencies support. They support Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin. This is reported by Trustnodes.

They are not going to be just cashiers for people to get money, they are also going to issue prepaid cards, they can be used for e-commerce, transfers through blockchain, cryptocurrencies and microscoring linkeo for microcredit.

New devices will allow not only to withdraw cash from a bank card, but also provides electronic wallet functions - ATMs will be able to "communicate" with smartphones for operations with Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin. The cost of one such ATM is $ 8,500 - it is expected that due to the profits from the commissions they will pay off in just six months.

In November last year, the South Korean industrial conglomerate Hyosung, also engaged in the production of ATMs, added thefeature of bitcoins purchase on their devices. At the same time, DigitalX and the manufacturer of the ATMs Stargroup are developing software for 2,900 ATMs in Australia that will support bitcoin.

The developers of the MetaMask Ethereum wallet wallet have opened the way for everyone to test the beta version of a mobile application available for Android and iOS.

According to the developers, the application is synchronized with the cryptowallet in the initial browser extension. It also allows you to manage crypto-assets, send ETH users and ERC-20 and ERC-721 standard tokens using ENS names (Ethereum Name Service), and interact with decentralized applications (dApps).

In addition, the application supports InstaPay payment channels for instant and free transactions. It also implements Web3 functionality, support for IPFS and various solutions to ensure a high level of security.

The launch of the mobile application MetaMask was announced 9 months ago during the Devcon4 conference in Prague.
