Capital One Financial Corporation, a bank holding company specializing in credit cards, auto loans, banking and savingsproducts headquartered Virginia, has unexpectedly stopped allowing its users process operations with cryptocurrency.

The users of Capital One who were trying to make any operatins with Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies started noticing that their transactions were not processed. The users could find out that their transactions were not working only when the exchanges contacted them directly, and that got even worse as Capital One did not let users know about stopping transactions in advance.
Capital One continues to closely monitor developments in cryptocurrency markets and exchanges and will regularly evaluate the decision as cryptocurrency markets evolve.
Capital One statement
As Breitbart News report, Capital One stated that it was declining credit card transactions to purchase cryptocurrency bacause of the limited mainstream acceptance and the risks of fraud, loss, and volatility, and the bank would monitor developments in cryptocurrency markets and exchanges and would "regularly evaluate the decision as cryptocurrency markets evolve".
