Cryptocurrency exchange Altcoin.io which is based in San Diego, USA, made an announcement on November 17 introducing the alpha version of the first atomic swap wallet in the world which is aimed at the development of the function of atomic swaps as this technology might have the potential to substitute most centralized exchanges.
Our Atomic Swap Wallet has been released - https://t.co/Sm34acikv9. With this alpha release available, our hope is to bring atomic swaps to the masses and show how this technology has the potential to change cryptocurrency trading forever. https://t.co/PjSbgV8d6U

It is worth mentioning that Altcoin Exchange performed first atomic swap between Ethereum and Bitcoin in the beginning of October 2017 aiming to prove that atomic swaps can replace traditional exchange transactions because they are safer and not inferior to them in speed.
With this first alpha release out, our hope is to bring atomic swaps to the masses and really show the potential this technology truly has for the cryptocurrency community — We see this project evolving into a fully decentralized exchange where users are fully in control of their tokens at all times.
Currently it is known that only Ethereum and Bitcoin can be swapped in the moment and the beta version of Atomic Swap wallet will only be used with testnet.
