On November 21 Gatecoin, a cryptocurrency exchange based in Hong Kong, announced that it has listed Litecoin (LTC), a major cryptocurrency and one of the serious alternatives to Bitcoin on the exchange platform.

As it was stated in the announcement that they consider Litecoin a cryptocurrency with faster transaction confirmation times and better storage efficiency than Bitcoin, which enables its network to support higher transaction volumes. Moreover, the advantage of Litecoin is its SegWit integration that fixes transaction malleability and facilitates long-term and secure scaling solutions.
The users are now able to trade LTC with BTC, ETH and EUR. Moreover, LTC/USD and LTC/HKD pairs are also available, but USD and HKD transfers are still on hold for several weeks while they company works to activate the new payment processing solutions.
