The developers of IOTA reported that they are working on developing three new IOTA wallets to be fully released during 2018, apart from the official main IOTA Wallet.

Trinity Wallet

Trinity is the wallet developed by Charlie Varley, IOTA Foundation member, and this new wallet introduces some major changes, such as moving away from Reattachements, to Transaction Promotion, which has proven to significantly increase transactions confirmations and the Tangle reliability. The desktop versions of the wallet for Windows, Mac and Linux and mobile versions for iOS and Android should be released in 2018.

The features that are not implemented yet, but will be, are automatic node selection, seamless snapshots, and two-factor autentification. The mobile beta of the wallet is rumoured to be released at the end of January.

Nelium Wallet

As the developers of Nelium Wallet state the goal is to get rid of such activities as: manual re-attaching, manual re-broadcasting, manual node changes, manual sender address generation, connection losses, asking for recipient addresses, checking if address is unused.

Nelium Wallet, which is only for mobile phones, will be audited by third-party security company and the code reviewed by the IOTA Foundation, and the seed will be stored only on the user's device and will not be sent to any other server.

There is no certain date of release of the wallet, but developers claim that by the end of February they will be able to engage people in private testing.

CarrIOTA Wallet

As the developers of CarrIOTA Wallet state, it will be used to manage users' single wallet, a complete household or an entire business with thousands of users and IoT entities. Moreover, it will be run as a stand-alone app on the computer or a web-app on user's home server, a single-board computer in a cloud service accessible from anywhere through a virtual private network.
