Nasdaq Composite recently filed an application with the patent office for a computer system that can safely send investors urgent information through the use of blocking technology. This is reported by the Cointelegraph.
According to the documents, the goal is to create a computer system that will quickly disseminate information between specific individuals through a multi-signature system. This will be done without the typical security risks and lack of audit trail that exist when using outdated computers.
Blockchain is the only thing that suits the needs of Nasdaq. Technology allows you to distribute data between individuals, keeping an audit trail with those who have access to information. Because of the risk of insider trading and the leakage of information to unreliable individuals, Nasdaq hopes to use blockade technology in order to patch up the holes.
