SWIFT, IBM, Ripple, Consensys AG, Bitfury and another 100 organizations joined the new blockchain association, the purpose of which will be the promotion of technology in the European Union.
The International Association of Trusted Blockchain Application (INATBA) will create a predictable, transparent and trust-based global framework to promote distributed ledger technology. In particular, the founding members of INATBA intend to set global standards for compatibility of blockchains and their applications and to create an inclusive and transparent management model.
We are thrilled to see that over 100 companies and organizations have partnered together to help develop the framework for distributed ledger technologies in Europe. It clearly signifies that blockchain technology will be a driving force for our economy in the coming years, and through INATBA we will be able to foster an environment that encourages the application of the technology across the EU member states.
