The new service can be tried at any of Satoshipay content partners’ websites, for example at Naftali Music or BTC Echo. The users will need to open the widget in the bottom right of the page, select “Top Up” and add credit using PayPal or directly from the Stellar wallet, the Lumens will arrive to the browser within seconds and the content can be payed for straight away.
We also found a way to emulate unconfirmed transactions on Stellar, which allows for content to be loaded milliseconds after clicking “Pay” instead of 5 seconds later when the payment is confirmed by the network. This is a crucial gain of speed in user experience and we plan to submit our approach as a Stellar protocol improvement.
What is more, SatoshiPay company has announced its new partnership with:
- TEMPO, a French money transfer company with a banking license
- International Business Times (UK)
Also from December 12 of 2017 SatoshiPay will be able to accept credit card payments via the payment service provider TransactWorld UK.
It is worth mentioning that on December 6, Stellar has made an announcement about its partnership with new and developing cryptocurrency exchange GOPAX, based in Seoul, Korea.
At the moment of press, these are main market parameters of Stellar Lumens:
- Average price: $0.12
- Marketcap: $2 313 982 254
- 24h volume: $84 969 100
