SpectroCoin, a cryptocurrency wallet, exchange, debit card, and payment processing provider made an announcement on November 19 stating that both individuals and companies can now get a personal International Bank Account Number, which is part of a standard numbering system intended to identify bank accounts from across the world.

Having IBAN makes SpectroCoin accounts function as any other bank accounts and means that the users will no longer need to use their bank account to link cryptocurrency and fiat payments. It makes it possible to make payments in euros directly from the SpectroCoin account and to make or receive euro transfers to or from third parties securely.

Currently at SpectroCoin users can receive transactions from any country in the Europen Economic Area using IBANs.
