Having encountered with Jason Hsu (Taiwanese legislator) in order to discuss blockchain and cryptocurrency on Monday morning, Sun determined that the Tron Foundation would take part in the Taiwan Blockchain Self-Regulatory Organization (TBRSO), an industry institution recently established by Hsu.
Being well-known in the FinTech space, Hsu has taken an important part in spreading the word about cryptocurrencies throughout Taiwan. So nevertheless Hsu has been in support of blockchain technology, his attempts have even been noticed by Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin, who called him the “Crypto Congressman”. Buterin, in fact, is but one industry expert that Hsu has cooperated with in his pursuit “to make Taiwan a Blockchain island” – according to a recent blog post.
But speaking of those trying to turn into a ‘blockchain island,’ in an uncanny aside for Tron, this past weekend saw Malta found a node for the Tron Foundation. Malta has recently been making impressive successes as they too work relatively to becoming a crypto hub.
Definitely, they made remarkable changes by luring Binance across. The leading crypto exchange’s CEO declared that Binance is “convinced that Malta will be the next hotbed for innovative blockchain companies.” Binance creator Changpeng Zhao has also been working together with Taiwan’s “Crypto Congressman” in recent times, having met at Hsu’s congressional office.
Changpeng retweeted a tweet by Hsu on Thursday. This post promoted his ‘blockchain island’ vision (it was also commented by Buterin multiple times).
